Ola Ka Ola
Founded by Michal Lissauer and Neta Shacham with a mission to change the lives of women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond by developing and teaching classes and content designed specifically for what they need, to ensure all women live happier and healthier for longer.
After a random conversation between two neighbors in the middle of the street during Covid, on how they couldn't find a good workout to fit with their busy schedules, or even a workout that would accommodate their needs as women over 40, Michal Lissauer went home and decided to make a change.
A few weeks later she asked her neighbor, Neta Shacham, to join her in this big creation which she named Ola Ka Ola (life goes on in Hawaiian)- an online wellness & fitness platform designed especially for women over 40:
- Short (30-min or less) and Live workouts for women with a busy lifestyle.
- No need for childcare (You're at home!).
- Always safe (guided by experts with years of industry experience).
- And never alone - The live workouts ensure that you will always join a class because your friends will wait in the other line.
Success was quick. Hundreds of women in their 40s,50s, 60s, and beyond joined the platform and attended even more than one class daily. The funny stories of the instructors (all over 40 too), the familiar faces, and the blessed break from the house chores made everyone look forward to joining.
3 years later, 90% of these women (and so many new members) still work out every day on Ola Ka Ola, which positioned it as the leading fitness platform for women over 40.
So next time when you see a woman over 40 rocking her bathing suit and looking all confident, know that she was touched by the Ola Ka Ola magic. Open your eyes, the Ola goddesses are all around you.
Our content has been tailored specifically for women over 40. You won't find this anywhere else.
