This is relevant for ALL women - Pre-pregnancy, postpartum, young adults peri, and postmenopausal. The basic information no one ever told us (and no, the answer is not Kegels).
I use these techniques in ALL my training, not just in the Core and Pelvic Floor restore program. This is how important and impactful this is on the whole-body approach to restoring and retraining your core and pelvic floor.
What we don’t always remember is that our pelvic floor is the foundation of our core, and when the foundation is not strong, we run into issues in the body as a whole.
Many times this will show up in the form of back pain, painful sex, heavy feeling in the pelvic floor, bulging in the abdomen, leaking, and urgency. Many of us, because of modern life, being overweight, childbearing, overtraining, or poor training, end up with these issues.
The issues we suffer from although not life-threatening, are certainly life-altering and prevent us from feeling and performing our best.
